Sri Rajeshwara Educational Society, the parent body of SR University is a 50-year-old conglomerate of educational institutions with more than 90,000 students and 17,000 teaching and non-teaching staff members. SR Educational Academy governs 95 Educational Institutions across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The goal of SR University is to create an innovative learning educational ecosystem whose graduates significantly contribute to the growth of Telangana and India. We plan to transform the educational system through three key differentiators.

Sri A. Madhukar Reddy

Pro - Chancellor

Sri A. Madhukar Reddy is the General Secretary of Sri Rajeshwara Educational Society, overseeing SR University and 185 educational institutions across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, serving over 100,000 students. As Pro-Chancellor of SR University, he drives its growth. He envisioned that SR University would offer world-class education to students who would in turn create an indelible impact on the society. Under his vision, SR evolved from an engineering college established in 2002 into a university with over 10,000 students and a consistent presence among India’s top 100 institutions in NIRF rankings. He has also championed the 170-acre campus, entrepreneurship through SRiX, scholarships, and social initiatives through the SR Foundation.

Sri A. Varada Reddy

Chancellor

Sri A. Varada Reddy is a pioneer in providing quality education and his efforts have transformed the lives of many youngsters. A man known for discipline and vision; Sri Varada Reddy has been serving the field of education since 1976. With his unstinted efforts, SR has become a trusted brand name in Telangana. Under his leadership, 95 educational institutions, including schools, junior colleges, degree colleges and professional colleges across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are fostering excellent standards of education to young minds, shaping them into intellectuals. Sri. Varada Reddy has defined quality consciousness coupled with ethical practices as the DNA of SR group.

Prof. Deepak Garg

Vice Chancellor

Prof. Deepak Garg is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence with a PhD in Computer Science and 25 years of academic and research experience. He has served as Professor and Dean at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and Bennett University. A leading voice in AI, he has contributed to national initiatives including AIRAWAT and served on committees of NAAC, NBA, UGC and AICTE. His research focuses on Reinforcement Learning and Generative AI, with 160 publications, 1,600+ citations and 14 PhD scholars guided. He has led major AI initiatives, including leadingindia.ai, which skilling over one million students. He is committed to making SR University a model for private higher education.
